The movement to unannounced surveys for accreditation and regulatory agencies requires us to rethink how we in healthcare approach continuous readiness. No matter what our choices are in relationship to standards we're going to meet, the concept for continuous readiness is the same.
McKenna & Associates' changes the approach to education and now include Joint Commission, CMS, and State Survey feedback. Another big change is an emphasis on how to get whatever standards you have adopted integrated into the staff's approach to their day to day operations. Medical Staff and Leadership's understanding of standard based leadership is also a theme in this seminar.
